The setting – Fraai Uitzicht 1798, on the R60 between Robertson and Montague, 1-hour from Cape Town – a treat for the senses. The food tasters to go with the wine were sublime.

Great photos! I was looking at the colour of the wine, is it red wine? It reminds me of a Portuguese one, called Rosé! Thank you so much for visiting my blog.:)
Hi Sandra, it is indeed a Rosé, and even though it’s made in South Africa, it has influences of Rosé from Madeira, one can taste the ginger. The colour is amazing, pinky-orange. Thanks for visiting my blog as well :-).
