Weekend Coffee Share Even Though The Linky Has Closed

If we were having coffee we’d talk about the whirlwind things have been since the beginning of the month. A nice whirlwind, a good whirlwind, an exciting whirlwind.

Having written about the whirlwind for the first time last Thursday, you have a pretty good idea of what it is. It continued this weekend, evidenced by the following important signs:

  1. It’s the second week in a row that I didn’t share my weekend coffee share; and
  2. It is day 26 of the month and this is only my 12th post. Last month I wrote 30 posts! I aim to write every day so I am in competition with me!

If we were having coffee, we’d talk about the coach retreat I attended this weekend. There was loads of learning opportunities, alcohol, sweets, food and nuts. And 30 other nuts running around, decompressing, networking and generally enjoying themselves. Good thing we had the whole place to ourselves!

It was in the Robertson area, beautiful. The weather was the best – hot during the day. Cooler in the evenings.

If we were having coffee we’d also talk about my trip to Berlin next week for a conference and another coach camp. It ends on the Friday and I’m spending the weekend there to explore the city. I definitely want to see the remnants of the Berlin Wall.

There’s a good chance that things will continue along the same vein into December.

If we were having coffee, we’d talk about the weather in Joburg which has been hot and humid. There hasn’t been much rain, strange for this time of year, and the municipality has sent a few SMSs asking residents to use water sparingly – water gardens in the evening and not to fill or top-up their pools. Fortunately our pool has a good level. Its sparkling water is inviting in these hot days. Che takes swims to cool off during the day. I’ve yet to go in, can you believe it? When I focus on work time passes and before I know it it’s dinner time.

Keeping the blogging regular will keep me grounded and connected with all of you. I’ve missed you these past weeks and look forward to catching up on all your blogs.

    1. I can’t wait for the rains. It’s so dry here and people are worried about water shortages. Hope it doesn’t get too cold there. I am on my way to Berlin on Monday so I will experience some cold.
