Never thought I’d be lucky enough to visit. But I was. And I did. I.Was.Blown.Away!
I spent a lot of time looking up.
Times Square was a riot. Totally unexpected. I loved it.
Yes indeed.
My first port of call. Solemn. Heartwrenching. I remember…
My route.
Sunset reflections.
New York may be many things. Underneath it all I sensed hope – it’s a city of hope. That power that keeps it/us/me moving forward.

Love visiting NYC and often in the past took the train in. Phantom of the Opera was the best! Hope you found the Naked Cowboy in Times Square… he’s quite the attraction. Next time ride the big red bus that yours around – greet for seeing high up!
NY is really amazing! I took the hop-on hop-off bus which I really enjoyed. I’d love to take in a show or two next time I’m there.
New York is amazing. We visited in 2017 and before that in 1992. Quite a difference.

I can imagine the difference between 1992 and 2017. I’ve been wondering if there will be a difference between pre-covid NY and post-covid NY. I suppose only a visit will tell 🙂
My home state New York!! I was born in upstate NY in the city of Suffern. I didn’t live there long as my family moved when I was 9 months old. But I’ve been back to visit and yes, so crazy in the city you do look up a lot! So many skyscrapers!! ❤️
I can’t wait to visit NY again. I didn’t take in a show, I didn’t walk in Central Park nor visit the Guggenheim, the Statue of Liberty or go on a department store shopping spree. And so much more.
