26 Weeks Letter Challenge: “D”

We’ve reached the week of “D” and I’ve found these pics in my archives. Head on over to Lori’s blog to find out more about this clever challenge – you might just want to participate in blogging the alphabet.

This week’s post features two of my favourite places to visit. We’re starting off though, with my favourite dog, sweet sweet Laila, who thinks she’s a person too 🙂

Namibia is my soul country and the desert my battery charger – there are so many words to describe this gorgeous piece of Africa – this is where I come to recharge, as often as I can, although not often enough.

This shady walkway belongs at the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens in Cape Town. One of my favourite places, I discover something new each time I visit.
