I was warned! And I didn’t heed the warning! Now I’m paying the price of wanting to find out for myself. My curiosity has gotten the better of me.
“Just the first book,” I told myself, “what harm can it make?”
Three hours later, I scrambled to buy the second book. That was yesterday. I’m on the third book now, and there are six with a seventh out in June.
I’d love to make the six books last ’till June, just so that I don’t have to wait for seventh one, on pre-order.
It’s not my fault the Pittacus Lore books are so compelling and un-put-downable.
The series follow the story of nine human-looking aliens brought to Earth when they were six years old. Their purpose is to grow into their powers and return to their planet, Lorien, and get it back from the evil Mogadorians. The teenagers have been protected by a charm, which only allows them to be killed in a set order. Up to the beginning of the book six have survived and reached 15 years. As their powers, their Legacies, start to develop they can't stay hidden anymore.(Goodreads)
Yes, I know, it’s young adult fiction. And I’m having so much frivolous enjoyment relaxing on the couch this Easter weekend with the Lorien Legacies books.
