The setting – Fraai Uitzicht 1798, on the R60 between Robertson and Montague, 1-hour from Cape Town – a treat for the senses. The food tasters to go with the wine were sublime.
This is my second Treat entry.
Here is the first one – “Just For You“.

Hello, Regina!
Great photos! I was looking at the colour of the wine, is it red wine? It reminds me of a Portuguese one, called Rosé! Thank you so much for visiting my blog.:)
Hi Sandra, it is indeed a Rosé, and even though it’s made in South Africa, it has influences of Rosé from Madeira, one can taste the ginger. The colour is amazing, pinky-orange. Thanks for visiting my blog as well :-).
I like the white roses it being summer over there at the moment you have a lot of ‘senses ‘ treats as you rightly put it.

Very true, I love the scent of flowers in the evening and night breeze. It’s so evocative of hot summer days.
