WordPress daily prompt: Seasons change so quickly! Which one do you most look forward to? Which is your least favorite?

I love spring because it’s the gateway to summer. There’s an element of anticipation for the first rains to arrive – they are the turning point from cold to warmer weather.

Who doesn’t love summer when it looks like this?

Autumn panorama, so pretty. The season with the identity crisis – it doesn’t know if it’s still summer (check the cumulus nimbus clouds) or winter – cool mornings with chilly evenings (click on photo to enlarge).

Winter, not my favourite season, is very dry in Gauteng. The landscape turns varying shades of brown. The skies are still blue. It has it’s own beauty.
