CFFC: Places People Live

Today, Cee is inviting us to post pics of places people live.

De Heerlijckyt van Elsmeren is gorgeous. It’s a castle in the Belgian countryside in the small municipality of Geetsbets. The family who owns it still live in a section of the castle, the rest is a hotel and conference centre. I spent a week there in July on a course – there was no better place for that.

De Heerlijckyt van Elsmeren’s lake and rowboat. It would have sunk had anyone taken it out into the lake, as the wood at the bottom was rotting

I didn’t have a wide enough lens to capture the whole facade of De Heerlijckyt van Elsmeren – here is a part

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Things People Play With

The splashes of colour come from the clothes of people of all ages playing with the white Legos. At the end of the exhibits at the STAM Ghent City Museum is a huge table piled high with white Legos.

All those white Legos, so inviting, no matter how young you are

What is it about Lego that is irresistible, and invites us to connect with our inner playful child…?

Interesting structure

I admit that this was the first time I’ve seen so many white Legos – most unusual.

I wonder which building this is supposed to be?
