If we were having coffee we would probably be on the patio overlooking the pool which is not quite sparkly yet but it’s getting there. It’s wonderfully inviting and Che had his first swim of the season yesterday in the still cold water. I filmed the event 😉
There may have been a gritting of the teeth and a bracing of the muscles and maybe a yelp or two (please don’t tell him I said this). He managed two lengths before coming out for a nice hot cup of tea. It’s still October and already a heat wave has been announced and with this the pool water will warm up considerably – it’s got to be at least 30 degrees centigrade before I go in.

If we were having coffee we’d talk about the big change that took place this week. I now work for a different organisation and I’m so excited about it. It’s been all about change this year and I can’t help thinking that all that’s happened this year to do with my professional goals which included some major personal shifts has all been leading to this. I’m so grateful for this opportunity!
There is some exciting travel on the cards and I heard yesterday that I’ve been accepted to speak at an international Agile conference in March. Exciting times ahead.

If we were having coffee we’d talk about my blogging taking a backseat this past week because of all the change. I managed one post during the week and one yesterday. I’m excited at Cee’s new photo challenge which I know will teach me a lot about photography – the Cee’s Compose Yourself Photo Challenge and it debuted this week. Go on over and have a look around, she has some interesting photo challenges with great subjects.

If we were having coffee we’d get really excited that The Blacklist is back! And Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Beyond excited. And Homeland starts sometime in the next month or so. And Bones is back too. With us binge watching X-Files and Person of Interest it’s a wonder that I get time to do anything else. But all work and no play makes Regina a dull person. It’s all about balance.
Best we end off here, I want to do prep for my workshop for the Scrum Gathering on the 19th October.
Cheers for today and have a great week!

Woo Hoo for you!!!
Thanks Ann!
Sounds like an exciting time for you! We’ve had lots of changes this year, too; Sam and I both changed jobs. I hope that things are beginning to calm down. Have a good week!

The next 2 months will probably be hectic but I hope to be sharing coffee from one or two different places! Exciting times.
Change is good, it keeps us on our toes 🙂
Hope you’re having a great week!
sounds like you like all of the same shows I do. And I hear you about the pool needing to be 30 degrees, anything below, and I think I will freeze too much! Not my hubby, he does not care – have a great week!
Thanks so much! I can’t wait for the next The Blacklist episode 🙂
I’m hoping to take a swim tomorrow and there will probably be some yelps and I’ll get out as soon as I get in…
Hope you’re having a great week.
