My Dad loves music and he loved to wake us up on weekends with wonderful music that I still play in my mind from time to time.
In those days it was vinyl and I love his collection of records. When the music came on, loud, it was a call to wake up in the most uplifting way. I have strong anchors associated with that music and when I hear it again I’m always reminded of being woken up in this way.
Recently Che played this song and the moment it came on I was transported to my childhood. It was also the music his older brother used to play.
There are so many songs, I know them as soon as they come on, and my state changes to HAPPY!
