Well, how convenient that the extraterrestrial spoke English, not to mention being friendly to boot. And that he just so happened to walk past my house at just the right moment!

But why would he pick me to ask such a question? And why would he want to know that? I was under the impression (misguided it seems) that aliens knew everything about Earth and earthlings. Hence their reason for invading us and turning us into a food-factory for their ever-increasing population and ever-dwindling food supplies.

Oh, hang on a second, isn’t it us earthlings that at some point could run out of food because of our ever burgeoning population? I wonder if all those probes and space craft Nasa and other space agencies have sent into space are actually colonisers of alien planets?

So instead of the aliens being the bad guys intent on decimating Earth, it is us who are intent on decimating the aliens?

It’s all so confusing!

Humans are so confusing. I doubt it if there is a single book, song or movie that explains what humans are all about.

The best is if the aliens came to earth and saw for themselves.

Oh wait, isn’t that what the alien passing by my house is doing?
