Everyone is Different, Just Like Everyone Else

Everyone thinks that they are different, just like everyone else. We are all human, and go through the same developmental stages as everyone else. Yet we are different, just like everyone else, because there is no one else like us in the world. Just like everyone else.

As a child my Mom used to tell me that there was a parallel universe where the exact copy of all of us was living. It was easy to imagine another me in another dimension. I used to wonder if she woke up at the same time as me, wore the same clothes as me and ate the the same things as me at the same time as me.

Fanciful children’s day dreams. Intriguing.  And yet, I still wonder if there is another me in another parallel dimension writing a blog post titled “Everyone is different, just like everyone else?”
