A recent visit to NIROX inspired this post. It’s a serene place set in a 15 hectare nature reserve in the Cradle of Humankind, a UNSESCO World Heritage Site.
The Cradle of Humankind is rich in palaeontological treasure and contains more than 40 fossil sites, the most famous of which are Mrs Pless (2.5 million years) and Little Foot (3.3 million years).
NIROX is home to a Sculpture Park.
